Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United get Anthony Martial fitness boost amid Jadon Sancho trial
manchestereveningnews.co.ukManchester United striker Anthony Martial is set to be eased back into team training in the coming days. Martial has not played since he tore his hamstring in the final Premier League game of last season against Fulham on May 27.
The 27-year-old said he was "better" when asked for an update on his fitness by English journalists after United's 2-0 defeat of Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday.
United manager Erik ten Hag said in June that Martial's recovery would be "long" but he is hopeful the Frenchman will be involved in full training this week. When Martial recovered from a hip injury in March, he did not play for four weeks after his return to team training at Carrington.
