Manchester United's third kit for the new 2023/24 campaign has been 'leaked' online in fresh pictures. The club's away kit, which combines a very dark green main colour with white and maroon stripes, has proved to be a controversial design among fans, but the third kit is a simple design that is mostly off-white with red accents.
The shirt is manufactured by Adidas and the decision has made been to tweak the club crest on the kit. READ MORE: United player Amad gives injury update Although the words 'Manchester United', the badge layout and the ship have been permanent features on each shirt since the 1970s, they have been dropped on the 23/24 third kit in favour of a red devil for a minimal design.
The last change to the badge came over two decades ago in 1998 when the words 'Football Club' were removed from the crest. The famous Adidas three stripes are tonal on the third kit, which allows the red collar, crest and sponsorship to stand out.
The kit's shorts are also believed to be off-white, with the socks worn by the players to be red. Last season's third kit was hi-vis yellow/slime green and it became synonymous with the Brentford debacle.
