A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an incident on a Scots street.Emergency services were called to Jarvie Way in Paisley around 7.40pm on Monday to reports of a man being found seriously injured.The 35-year-old was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and has now been released.A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday.Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing and anyone with information is being urged to contact police.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Monday, 4 September, 2023, we received a report of a man having been found seriously injured on Jarvie Way in Paisley.“Emergency services attended.

The 35-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and released following treatment.“A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
