However, one man stood his ground and refused to give up his chosen seat on a recent flight - and when he discovered the real reason behind the request, he was relieved he did.
Mark Roberts took to TikTok recently to share a word of caution after a woman asked him to switch seats with her, claiming she wanted to sit closer to her daughter - but he suspects there was an ulterior motive. "If someone asks you to switch seats with them on a commercial flight be cautious, because they don't always have the best intentions," warned the TikTok star.
