A man has been found guilty of fly tipping after dumping more than 25 sacks of domestic rubbish in a street next to a litter bin.

Anthony Brissett was fined £720 after Trafford Council officers discovered 16 bags of refuse on Talbot Road, Stretford, on March 11, 2019.

They began investigating who had left them when more bags were dumped there – followed by a further five more sacks left overnight on April, 28.

The CCTV control room identified that the sacks had all been left by the same person. Officers from the Environmental Improvement team also went through the rubbish and identified Brissett, who lived nearby, as the main suspect. READ MORE: 'Is it Ronnie Pickering?'
