Man charged over 'suspicious' death in Dundee as cops launch CCTV appeal

A man has been charged in connection with the 'suspicious' death of a 43-year-old in Dundee.Emergency services were called to reports of a man found seriously injured at a property on Charleston Road shortly after 11pm on Saturday.He was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for treatment but lost his fight for life on Sunday, March 31.Police Scotland previously confirmed they are treating the death as 'suspicious'.

A 43-year-old man is now due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today after being arrested by investigators.Detective Inspector Richard Baird said: “Our thoughts are very much with the man’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We will have a continued police presence in the area and anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.”Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident 4387 of 30 March.
