Man banned from ‘pooing or weeing’ in town centre
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA 59-year-old man has been banned from entering and ‘urinating or defecating’ in Macclesfield town centre for two years after ‘becoming a real problem’ in the area.
Stephen Cooke, of Mill Lane, Macclesfield, was handed a Criminal Behaviour Order at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Friday (June 23).
The order prohibits him from entering the town centre, as well as the South Park area. The order, applied for by Macclesfield Local Policing Unit, prohibits Cooke from urinating or defecating in an open public space.
He is also banned from entering the designated area and sleeping outside in a public place when a housing offer has been made by the local authority.
