LuckyChap And Plan B In Talks For ‘Thin Man’ Rights, Both Would Co-Produce

Following an extensive auction, LuckyChap and Plan B Entertainment are in exclusive talks to acquire rights to the classic Thin Man series.

The rights of The Thin Man recently became available and LuckyChap and Plan B had been eyeing this for some time pre-WGA strike and are in talks for the rights.

No discussions of starring are happening in respect to the sag strike. However both companies would produce together. The popular film series began with the 1934 film that follows former detective Nick Charles and his wife Nora who decide to solve a murder for the fun of it.

Five sequels would follow and Hollywood and since being trying to reboot the series in recent years with Johnny Depp and Rob Marshall at one point eyeing a remake at Warner Bros.
