Lorraine Kelly paid a heartfelt tribute to Sir Chris Hoy after the Olympic cycling icon disclosed that he has a life expectancy of "two to four years" following his terminal cancer diagnosis.
The 48-year-old had announced in February that he had started chemotherapy treatment for the disease but fans had hoped for different news as he was a huge presence at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Scots ITV star Lorraine joined the throng of well wishers for the sportsman, who she hailed as the "kindest, most loveliest, most generous man" as she posted on Instagram on Sunday: "Such an honour to have met and spent time with. @chrishoy1 - The kindest, loveliest most generous man.
