Every week, a rising artist will feature on The Cover – you can read the profile of Mustafa here, written by Cordelia Lam and featuring photography by Stella Gigliotti.The Cover is accompanied by an exclusive playlist, titled ‘Kitaba’, compiled by Mustafa.
It features a selection of songs by Neil Young, Sami Yusuf, Sufjan Stevens, Fairouz, and Future. The police and judicial system there have consistently rendered my community invisible. And to be clear, that’s not been the fault of the system.
