JPEGMAFIA has shared his brand new single ‘Sin Miedo’ check it out below.‘Sin Medio’ (which translates to ‘no fear’), is JPEGMAFIA’s second solo single this year.

Built around a sample of 2 Live Crew’s ‘Hoochie Mama’, the track harnesses sprawling metal guitars in a fusion of rock, hip-hop, electronic and dance. It marks the rapper’s first string of solo releases since 2021 and follows the single ‘don’t rely on other men‘ released June 17.‘Sin Miedo’ is accompanied by a similarly raucous music video, which features JPEGMAFIA driving around in a cowboy hat and performing under a highway overpass — all filmed in a disorientating, glitchy style.JPEGMAFIA first announced he was working on an album last year, telling fans that they could expect three from him in 2023.However, he only released one full-length collaborative project with Danny Brown called ‘SCARING THE HOES: VOL 1’.

The duo then followed the record up with the four-track EP ‘Scaring the Hoes: DLC Pack’.On June 17, he confirmed to fans on Instagram that his highly-anticipated second solo album will be released soon, writing: “Album on the way.”The rapper – real name Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks – last released a solo album in 2021. ‘LP!’, received a glowing four-star review from NME, which praised his artistic focus.“Criminally underrated because he’s not making music like the big dogs, JPEGMafia still keeps his integrity no matter what – continually putting out a high standard of work in the process.”A post shared by • BAEPEGMAFIA • (@jpegmafia)Earlier this month, JPEGMAFIA announced a string of tour dates in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
