Popular fast food chain Wingstop is set to open six more stores across the UK, with Bolton one of the areas getting a new Wingstop location.

The company, which is seen as a strong alternative to KFC, will open the locations in Crawley, Bolton, Ealing, Lakeside, Whitechapel and Walthamstow, adding 300 new jobs to its already 2,500 strong workforce.

The first Wingstop outlet was opened by Lemon Pepper Holdings, the chain's master franchisee in the UK, in 2018 and has now grown to have 50 restaurants, with the 50th opening in Bolton on Monday (August 19).
