Lisa Cameron MP has welcomed the Conservative Government’s Budget for parents and families across East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow.With inflation falling from 11.1 per cent to four per cent, the Tories have introduced new support for hardworking parents who balance being a parent alongside their work.The government has announced the raising of the threshold for the High Income Child Benefit Charge (HICBC) to £60,000, taking 170,000 families out of paying this tax charge, from April 2024.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
