This Morning's resident vet Dr Scott Miller broke down in tears in an emotional and heartbreaking video as he commemorated the loss of a loved one.The Australian vet, who is a regular face on ITV's morning show, shared with fans that he had been in tears while editing a new video for his YouTube channel over memories of a lost pet, Betty. The crying and emotional 48 year old tried to laugh off his emotions but was clearly moved as he was reminded of his beloved dog - a 15 year old terrier, who died in 2020.The pooch had spent her life as Dr Scott's companion and fans were upset to see Scott, who was sitting on his home staircase, looking upset and red-eyed while trying to explain what had happened.

Taking to Instagram, Scott said: "Hope you're having a really lovely Easter. I have just watched the most recent video that we will be posting on Rescue Vet. "It's about a dog called Betty who, as you may remember from watching Vet On The Hill, that my dog was called Betty.

Sadly I lost her a couple of years ago, and we've kind of touched on that in this latest episode and it's made me cry," he noted. "So for all of you that are missing a dog in your life that you've loved very much and you've lost then my heart's with you." The dad of four continued to apologise for anyone who he might upset. "I'm sorry if this video makes you cry.

You probably will. But yeah, just just let me know how you're feeling, and just know that we're in this together." He later continued in the caption: "Losing a beloved animal friend can be very hard.
