Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Ex-Oasis tour manager Iain Robertson has spilled the beans on memorable chase after Liam Gallagher through the streets of Brighton.Iain, who had previously managed music legends like George Harrison and Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols, found himself as Oasis's tour manager, accompanying them around the globe. In conversation with Dodge Woddall on his podcast, Iain recounted a hectic morning trying to keep up with Liam Gallagher post-meeting Paula Yates, co-presenter of the BBC's Jools Holland Show, where Oasis had performed weeks earlier.Iain shared that Paula seemed immediately taken with Liam, making a beeline for him after their show appearance, though nothing ensued at the time.

However, when Oasis later played in Brighton, Paula was there, and as the band prepared to leave for Middlesborough, Liam had other ideas.

Iain remembered: "Liam was gently kind of shading back from me, and as I turn around, he's heading off in the opposite direction and I've gone, 'woah, woah, woah! ' and he starts running," reports the Mirror. "So now I'm chasing Liam through the streets of f*****g Brighton and he ends up at a hotel and at the front door of the hotel is Paula Yates.

And Liam says, 'mate, I'll make my own way to Middlesborough' and I said, 'there's not a f*****g chance in hell that's going to happen'.
