Liam Gallagher has donated his iconic globe instillation from his residency at the Co-op to the brand new venue. Back in June, the former Oasis frontman played four gigs at the arena to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis' debut album.
Featured in his set was the world globe that doubled as a glowing orb backing up Gallagher's shows which he described as 'biblical'.
The Oasis frontman has now given the installation to the venue as a semi-permanent fixture and it will be presented in the vast atrium, The Street. To mark the occasion, Co-op Live has donated £25K to Gallagher’s chosen charity, Happy Doggo. Launching in 2021, Happy Doggo reduces the suffering of stray dogs by offering support, sanctuary and welfare worldwide.
