Lawrence Shankland gets honest on Hearts future as 2 'tempting' factors could trigger exit

in-form Lawrence Shankland admits he would find it tempting to leave Hearts - if another club came in and offered him something the Gorgie club cannot.

The Jambos skipper has already hit 27 goals for club and country this term and is on course to smash his best ever season total of 28 - with his form now putting him on course for Steve Clarke's Scotland squad for Euro 2024.

Shankland is within the final 18 months left in his Tynecastle deal and while a club-imposed deadline over a new contract came and went in January talks remain ongoing behind the scenes in Gorgie.

But in an honest interview with the BBC ahead of Hearts' Scottish Cup clash with Morton, Shankland was pressed on what options would be attactive to him when the summer window rolls around.
