Lanarkshire drivers warned of M8 overnight closure

Lanarkshire drivers are being warned over an overnight closure on the M8 between Junction 5 Shotts and Junction 6A westbound at Newhouse.BEAR Scotland, Transport Scotland’s operating company, is set to carry out traffic loop installation on the M8 westbound main carriageway before Junction 6.To allow for traffic loop works to be carried out safely, the M8 westbound between Junction 5 and Junction 6A will close overnight between 8.30pm and 6am on Wednesday, March 15.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
