King Charles is being urged to make a bold and conclusive move following Prince Harry's official decision to declare the United States as his primary residence. This comes alongside the release of new documents detailing exactly when Harry and Meghan Markle were asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage by the monarch.
Companies House recently unveiled documentation for 'Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex', confirming that his ordinary resident status has been updated from the UK to the US.The update on his residency coincides with their announced departure from Frogmore Cottage, as per Buckingham Palace's announcement last year, the Mirror reports. In light of this paperwork that effectively severs Harry's ties with the UK, royal author Angela Levin has recommended that the King removes his son from the position of "Counsellor of State to stand in for the monarch should it be needed".Levin took to Twitter to share her insight: "A document released yesterday on Harry states his home is now America.
Surely he can't demand full time top brass protection. "Nor interfere with our media. Nor be a Counsellor of State to stand in for the monarch should it be needed."By law, Counsellors of State must maintain a UK residence, which Prince Harry lacks since moving to the US.
