Killer who helped 'The Iceman' assassinate Paul Massey's friend has bid for freedom rejected

A killer who helped a hitman called "The Iceman" carry out an assassination has failed in a bid have an appeal against his conviction heard.

Steven Boyle, 38, was convicted of the murder of gangland fixer John Kinsella in January 2019 and told by a judge he must serve a minimum of 33 years in jail.

His co-accused, Mark Fellows, who shot Mr Kinsella, was given a whole life sentence, after he was also convicted of the killing and the machine-gun murder of Paul Massey in 2015, giving credence to his nickname.
