Journey have cancelled their UK and Ireland 50th anniversary arena tour – you can find all the details below.The ‘Don’t Stop Believin” band had been due to embark on their ‘Freedom Tour’ this autumn with special guests Cheap Trick.Tickets for the run of gigs – which included a stop at The O2 in London – went on sale back in March.
Now, it has been confirmed in a brief statement that the 11-date trek has been axed.“Due to circumstances beyond the band’s control, Journey’s UK and Ireland tour is unfortunately cancelled,” the message reads (via Radio X). “Refunds will be made from your point of purchase.”Journey have not yet announced the news on their official social media accounts.
