Jonnie Irwin was looking "fantastic" according to his fans as he posted an update on his social media attending an awards ceremony amid his cancer diagnosis on Friday night alongside his former Escape to the Country colleague Nicki Chapman.The 49-year-old has been praised by his loyal fleet of followers for his grit and determination to continue to look "strong" for his wife Jessica Holmes and his sons, Rex, 4, and two-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac despite his terminal illness.Despite his cancer diagnosis, Jonnie has continued to document special moments with his beloved family and has been working tirelessly on projects including his attendance at the First Time Buyer Magazine Awards.The special occasion saw the ‘prestigious’ Jonnie Irwin Legacy Award being honoured to SO Resi Education for their work in teaching the next generation of first-time buyers about how to get on the property ladder.Making his debut on the red carpet, the dad-of-three was flooded with support as he stepped out looking dapper dressed in a white shirt and a black suit jacket which he paired with some beige trousers.Speaking of the event, Jonnie wrote on his Instagram alongside a snap of him and Nicki: "Congratulations to all the winners at the @firsttimebuyermag Awards yesterday there was some very impressive winners and runners up.""We also raised an incredible amount of money for our nominated charity @stoswaldsuk with a couple of super generous individual bids- you know who you are and thankyou so much," Jonnie added.Nicki commented on the post shortly afterwards as she gushed over their reunion, adding: "We all know how tough that can be –-especially at the moment.
