While the couple have just come back from their honeymoon, fans have been worried about Tom's behaviour for a while, and even on their wedding day, Belle wasn't sure if she'd made the right choice marrying him.Tom has been showing all the signs of someone who wants to control everything, and it looks like he might start being physically harmful to Belle, as well as mentally.
Last year, Belle hid that Tom pushed her so hard she hit her head, and it's going to get all the more sinister when Tom starts using different methods of technology to assert his control over her.
Over the coming weeks, Emmerdale will be exploring a domestic abuse storyline, while also highlighting how it can escalate over a period of time.This includes how domestic violence can lead to isolation from family and friends, manipulation and love bombing.
