And the blended family didn't hold back at all on the details, transforming their home into a temporary nightclub - complete with photo opportunities, party favours and personalised cocktails.
Lorenz, was enveloped in love, surrounded by family and friends, including Rio's twin sisters - Remi and Anya, who were gifted special sunglasses emblazoned with "LR18" to remember the special day.
Ever the proud stepmum, Kate, who opened up about raising 5 kids, snapped a picture of Lorenz sipping his first legal drink - a cocktail crowned with an edible topper that read "Lorenz turns 18".
The beautiful photos from the night featured Kate happily snuggling up with Lorenz, who is set to move back into the family home over summer, and Rio on the picture-perfect photo area.
