But while he may be getting used to his new diet of rice and beans, days spent completing Bushtucker trials and nights spent sleeping under the stars, back in the UK he lives in a very lavish home in Peckham with his fiancee ‘Fruitcake’.
While not much is known about Fred’s relationship with his beloved ‘Fruitcake’, the TV personality has given fans a glimpse inside their home over on Instagram - and it looks stunning.
Fans of Fred, 51, may be familiar with his ‘Wednesday Wine Club’ series, which sees him review some of his favourite wines. And, as part of the series, the maître d'hôtel often shares his reviews while standing in his very modern kitchen.
