Freddie Flintoff is famed for being a professional cricket player, but he once tried his hand at being a boxer.The TV star made his professional boxing debut in 2012 in a bout against Richard Dawson.
Freddie, 46, beat Richard on points at Manchester Arena. It marked his first and last professional boxing fight, despite it taking months of training to prepare for.The former cricket player enlisted the help of ex-boxing champion Barry McGuigan and his trainer son Shane to get him ready for the fight.
Freddie reportedly shed an incredible two and a half stone during his training, having completely overhauled his lifestyle. In a snap shared online by Shane at the time, Freddie can be seen flexing his muscles and showing off his ripped physique.The photo was captioned: "Check out Fred after his training today!!
Haha joker, thinks he's the new Hulk." Freddie opened up about deciding to take up boxing at the time, revealing he wanted to try his hand at something new.
