Johnny Depp
John Christopher Depp II (born June 9, 1963) is an American actor, singer, producer, and musician. He has been nominated for ten Golden Globe Awards, winning one for Best Actor for his performance of the title role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2008), and has been nominated for three Academy Awards for Best Actor, among other accolades. He is regarded as one of the world's biggest film stars. Depp made his film debut in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, before rising to prominence as a teen idol on the television series 21 Jump Street (1987–1990). He had a supporting role in Oliver Stone's 1986 war film Platoon and played the title character in the 1990 romantic fantasy Edward Scissorhands.

Call the Midwife fans will recognise actress Annabelle Apsion as the lovable shop owner, Violet Buckle, but she's also appeared in a string of other TV shows.

Annabelle joined the BBC drama during season four when Fred Buckle (Cliff Parisi) visited her haberdashery which saw the pair quickly fall in love, reports MyLondon.They started a life together in Poplar, East London and Violet won the local council elections to represent Poplar North - she's also become a mum to Reggie Jackson (Daniel Laurie).

But away from Call the Midwife, Annabelle has starred in some of TV's most popular shows including Channel 4's comedy-drama Shameless.

The 63 year old, who hails from Hammersmith, West London, famously played Monica Gallagher in the series, who was the wife of unruly alcoholic Frank Gallagher.
