A chef was left utterly astonished when he opened his Too Good to Go bag from Morrisons to find it brimming with doughnuts. After paying a mere £3.09 for the mystery bag through the app, Scott Murrell didn't expect much but was greeted by an overwhelming 72 doughnuts upon returning homefar surpassing the value of even a single Krispy Kreme. "I had no idea what was in the bag until I got them home," Scott told What's The Jam. "I was really shocked, but happy with it.
I used three packs of the doughnuts to make a bread and butter pudding, which was lovely." The 32-year-old from Bangor, Wales, generously shared his bounty: "I gave some to family members that day and we had some the day after; not many went to waste.
I probably get more than one [Too Good To Go bag] a week; as a family, we love them and the surprises they hold. I would recommend them to everyone." The incident, which took place on August 18, has since sparked envy and admiration online.
Laura Jade Beard expressed her delight, saying: "This is my heaven." Jackie Pleaven agreed, commenting: "Sounds perfect to me.", reports the Mirror.
