Huge Coronation Street character to return after 16 years
ok.co.ukThe lives of Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) and Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) have been turned upside down on Coronation Street.The arrival of Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) has spelt trouble for them both with Liam becoming the victim of bullying and Dylan being pushed to take part in fear of being a target himself.
Now, they’re not the only ones getting involved. Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) discovers his son’s part in tormenting Liam and is horrified.
He and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) soon come to blows over their children. But Dylan’s part in the bullying also calls for a character return - Violet Wilson, Dylan’s mum played by Jenny Platt.
Dylan was the result of a pact between pals Violet and Sean to have a baby together so Violet could have a child. Violet gave birth to Dylan in the Rovers Return back in 2008. “After 16 years, Jenny Platt [who plays Violet] is coming back,” Antony says. “She won’t return permanently but, at the end of the day, she’s Dylan’s mum. “I’ve always remained in touch with Jenny so I’m excited to see her.
