Manchester United can still qualify for Europe with just one Premier League fixture of the 2023/24 season left. United closed the gap to seventh-placed Newcastle United with a 3-2 win over Eddie Howe's side on Wednesday thanks to goals from Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund.
They will head to the south coast to face Brighton on the final day, while Newcastle will take on Brentford. The four Champions League spots have already been confirmed with Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa taking up the top four positions in the league.
United are fighting for a place in the Europa League and Europa Conference League alongside fifth-placed Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle.
