They say hitting your mid-30s means you have to put in a bit more effort to maintain that youthful, fresh-faced glow. I've always been fortunate with my skin - the occasional breakout and a touch of dryness, but nothing major.

Despite this, I've always opted for full coverage foundation. Why, you ask? Well, when someone saw me without makeup, they asked the same question.

I didn't have a clear answer, but I suppose over the years, I've been drawn in by beauty adverts from big brands showcasing perfectly airbrushed skin.

Now, at 36, I'm on the hunt for alternatives that offer a more natural finish. I recently stumbled upon Dr Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF50 £37 here.
