Holly Willoughby's This Morning return date has officially been confirmed - as has who will be alongside her. The presenter hasn't been seen on the programme for several weeks as she headed off to enjoy her annual summer holiday.

Her temporary break from the ITV daytime show, which happens every year, came at a challenging time for Holly as she co-hosted alongside a number of different members of the 'This Morning family' following Phillip Schofield's shock exit.

The broadcaster, who presented the programme for more than 20 years, saw his celebrated TV career shattered in May after he confessed to lying to bosses and co-star Holly about an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a runner in his 20s.

He initially 'stepped back' from the show due to reports about his off-screen relationship with Holly was in tatters before officially having to leave ITV altogether over the affair revelation.
