Alison Hammond apologised after she was scolded by one of This Morning's regular guests. The presenter was back fronting the ITV daytime show on Friday (September 8) alongside usual co-host Dermot O'Leary - following an earlier return to the show this week co-presenting with Holly Willoughby.
The pair were joined by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell to chat through the latest news headlines. The top story continued to be that of terror suspect Daniel Khalife, who escaped prison earlier this week.
Discussing the story at the top of the latest 'This Morning's View' segment, Alison giggled. She introduced the segment by saying: "I can see this being made into a bit of a film you know.
The escaped prisoner is still on the loose with no confirmed sightings." Alison then started to laugh as she said police had accidentally detained a lookalike yesterday, adding: "Sorry I shouldn’t be laughing."
