Prime Video have released the first images of Michael Sheen as Prince Andrew in upcoming series A Very Royal Scandal – take a look below.The series is due to land on the streaming platform on September 19 (as per Variety), with the Prince and his disastrous 2019 Newsnight interview as its subject.

The interview went viral due to allegations against the Prince and his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein and Virginia Giuffre.As such, there will be three episodes of the series, focusing on “the lead-up to the interview, the ground-breaking event itself and the many questions left in its wake that would change their lives forever.”Sheen will star as the Prince, whilst Ruth Wilson will feature as Newsnight host Emily Maitlis.

Joanna Scanlan, Alex Jennings, Éanna Hardwicke and Claire Rushbrook are also set to join the cast.
