Kym, who is also a presenter on the show, confirmed Dave's death on Friday (January 12) in a family statement, more than two years after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. "It is with immense sadness that we confirm the passing of David Marsh," a statement on behalf of the Marsh family said. "A much loved husband, dad, grandad, great grandad and friend to many, David passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
We are truly heartbroken and ask for privacy at this incredibly difficult time." Kym and her family had spoken about her father’s prostate cancer on a number of occasions since she revealed he had been diagnosed in 2021, with Dave joining her on the BBC One show to make others aware of the symptoms and the importance of getting checked out as soon as possible.
