A friend of King Charles has shared that "boredom will be one of the hardest things" for the monarch following his cancer diagnosis.
His Majesty, 75, has had to cancel all his public duties, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday. He is undergoing "appropriate treatment from a specialist team" and it looks like all his medical check-ups will be in person.
With no work for now, insiders believe Charles might struggle with having nothing to do, some have even joked that he'll be able to get through his "red boxes" of paperwork each morning.
But a friend has said: "Boredom will be one of the hardest things for him", reports Mirror Online. Another insider shared that Charles will still be able to enjoy some hobbies, like listening to his favourite records of the late Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, especially the touching song Take This Waltz, which he finds "very moving".
