Hashem Abedi left fingerprints on items alleged to have been used to make explosive device, Arena bomb trial told

Manchester Arena bombing accused Hashem Abedi left his fingerprints all over items he is alleged to have used to make and store an improvised explosive device, a jury was told.

The prints were found on cut-up pieces of vegetable oil tin allegedly manipulated to make parts for an earlier version of the device found in the shed and bins of the family home in Fallowfield, the court heard.

Jurors were told they were also found in a 12th-floor flat in Blackley - said to have been used to make deadly TATP explosive - and also in an old Nissan Micra Hashem Abedi and his brother Salman are said to have used to store the explosive when, it is alleged, they flew to Libya in a hurry a month before the blast.
