Hamilton primary pupils learn more about construction industry during site visit

During their visit to Taylor Wimpey’s Oakwood Grove development, the primary three St Mark’s Primary children also had an opportunity to see some of the new homes that are under various stages of construction.Stuart Rowan, Site Manager at Oakwood Grove said: “We really enjoyed meeting the children and being able to give them an insight into how we are building new homes in Hamilton.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I appreciated the team taking the time to remind the children to never play near a construction site.“This is a message that we’ve taken back to school to share with everyone.“During our visit, the children asked lots of questions to learn more about the building process, and they really enjoyed seeing the different stages that it takes to build a new house in real life.”
