Greater Manchester weather forecast as region could finally be set for warmer temperatures

Whilst there has been heavy rain across the region this morning (August 30), and relatively low temperatures of around 13C, conditions are set to improve throughout the day.
This could set the trend for the rest of the week. By this afternoon, temperatures are expected to rise significantly to 16C alongside sunny intervals.
Temperatures will continue to rise to 18C in the evening before slightly dropping as night time rolls in. By the late evening, temperatures will drop to 14C with partly cloudy conditions. The showers will be most numerous and occasionally heavy in southern parts of the region and through the morning with many places turning dry later in the day.
