Two men who were arrested after a huge brawl erupted in the street in Wythenshawe have been released on bail, police have confirmed.

Four men in total have been arrested since the violent scenes escalated on Floatshall Road on Sunday afternoon (May 12). The clash involved around 10 men, some of whom had weapons, police said.

Five were hurt in the chaotic scenes. Video footage of the incident showed a vehicle being surrounded by a group who went on to attack those inside, with the windscreen smashed during the fracas. Two men - aged 25 and 31 - were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. They were released on bail, police revealed yesterday.
