‘Good Morning Football’ Cast With “New Faces” & Premiere Date Set For LA Relaunch On NFL Network; ‘GMFB: Overtime’ To Stream On The Roku Channel
deadline.comNFL Network has set the cast and premiere date for the Good Morning Football relaunch from their studios in Los Angeles. Jamie Erdahl, Peter Schrager, and Kyle Brandt will return to the morning show when it relaunches on Monday, July 29, at 8 p.m.
ET. Schrager and Brandt will split their hosting duties between LA and New York. Joining the table are Sherree Burruss and former NFL star Akbar Gbajabiamila, who had been co-hosting The Talk on CBS, which is ending its run later this year. “Not only are we bringing back a show that so many fans have woken up to and loved for years, we are giving it a state-of-the-art new home with even more resources and space for our talent to showcase their signature segments and fun takes on the game of football,” said NFL Media vice president of original content and entertainment Angela Ellis, who will oversee the L.A.
show’s brand. News of the new Good Morning Football cast confirms Jason McCourty would not be returning to the sports show with its move from NY to LA.
