Ben Shephard is usually seen looking suited and booted when he appears on national TV in the mornings on Good Morning Britain.

But the presenter was rendered unrecognisable when he took on a tough challenge over the weekend. Ben joined thousands of other participants at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire for the latest Tough Mudder race.

Saturday's event was completely sold out, attracting more than 10,000 people who wanted to take part in the "world's best obstacle course and mud run" on what was the hottest day of the year.
