Suki Panesar had been taking care of the youngster in Thursday night's episode, 21 September, after she had revealed to him that his father Ravi Gulati was responsible for murdering his adoptive father, Nugget’s grandpa, Ranveer Gulati.
Horrified by the news, Nugget had vowed to stay away from his dad as he struggled to come to terms with the weight of the truth about his sinister actions and went into hiding with Suki to try and avoid running into Ravi.
Unwilling to let his son vanish from his life, Ravi tirelessly began trying to search for his missing son, including asking Suki herself if she had seen Nugget - something which she categorically denied.
