Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.
Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

It's a situation many parents can identify with at this time of year.That feeling of loss and utter devastation when their son or daughter finally moves out of the family home as they head off to university.This year, stars including Myleene Klass and Amanda Holden said they were utterly bereft when their daughters upped sticks for college, and last year Ruth Langsford said she was in tears with her 'heart ripped out' as her son Jack left home.

Back in 2022, Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid opened up to OK! about dealing with the complex emotions surrounding empty nest syndrome.The 53 year old TV star's eldest son Sam, then 20, had left her family home in south London for university and she was left devastated about lthe oss of time she gets to spend with him.

Susanna told us: “He’s gone - he’s gone to uni, but he does come back from time to time, which is a total pleasure. In fact he came back over the weekend without warning - no head’s up, which was absolute bliss.

I absolutely love it. You cry your heart out because you know all that regular time with your children is gone and that’s really sad and then it’s dependent on them and their desire to come home.
