My Mum, Your Dad fans were left fuming during Thursday night's episode as the show was hit with a massive twist, with all of the contestants who had failed to find a romantic connection axed from the retreat just a day prior to the finale.
Host Davina McCall entered the show with a big announcement, asking the three couples who had formed a connection; Jenny and Danny, Vicky and David and Paul and Stephanie, whether they would like to explore their romance further.
With all six contestants confirming they would, Davina then shocked the remaining contestants, and their children, by informing them it was time to leave the retreat.
And reacting to the moment on social media, many fans took to X to share their shock as one wrote: "Can't believe they are chucking them out a day early just because they didn't get coupled up!" while another penned: "This is a bit harsh!!" Noticing the shock on everyone's faces, a third fan tweeted: "Even the kids were caught off guard just then. They're all moving on out. #MyMumYourDad", while a final fan said: "I would hate that being kicked out of the blue #mymumyourdad" The twist comes after fans predicted earlier this week that there won't be many couples coming out of the dating show, as many shared their predictions during Tuesday's (24 September).
