ok.co.ukFormer Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers' ex-girlfriend Talia Oatway has shared an emotional update on their son Oakley's health after "the worst week of her life".The couple welcomed their son Oakley in 2022 and later shared that he was born with Apert Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects the skull, face, hands and feet.
In December 2022, the couple split and Talia revealed that it had been the "toughest 7 months of my entire life". Last year, the mum-of-four opened up about Oakley's condition and said: "Oakley has a long road ahead, this is a lifelong journey and it isn't going to be easy.
But my boy, you have shown me how strong you are! You are brave and determined and I love you more than you'll ever know. I hope that by sharing our journey I can raise awareness and support other medical families." Over the weekend, Talia provided her followers with another update on Oakley's health.
She openly wrote on Instagram: "I'm not going to lie this week has been the worst week of my life.To watch my son be intubated, 2 surgeries in a matter of days, fighting sepsis, drain in his back, leaking fluid from his head, fluid resuscitation, blood transfusions, I am struggling here.", reports the Mirror.
