Gemma Owen's footballer dad Michael scorned by fans over awkward sunburn on family holiday

The former footballer, 43, who is the father of former Love Island star Gemma Owen, shared some holiday snaps to Instagram which he captioned: "What a holiday [sun emoji]." However, fans were quick to comment on the fact that Michael appeared to have gone without his suncream while enjoying the sunny getaway, and had caught a bit of sunburn.
One wrote: "Jayzuz Michael yer nearly burnt to the colour of beetroot there" while another added: "You know suncream do you??" It comes after Gemma, 20, sparked rumours that she could be taking part in this year's I'm A Celebrity...
Get Me Out Of Here! after she jetted off to Australia following the family holiday. Gemma has reportedly also embarked on a romance with Aadam Hamed, the son of world boxing champ Prince Naseem Hamed, with the pair having recently spent time together in Dubai.
