Manchester United legend Gary Neville has admitted that intense pressure eventually made him want to leave the club. Neville, who spent two decades at Old Trafford and became an icon as part of the 1999 treble-winning team, admitted that the expectations from Sir Alex Ferguson and his United teammates were overwhelming.

By the time he retired in 2011, the Class of '92 alumnus had won eight Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the Champions League twice.

Despite retiring, Neville didn't slow down and has become one of Sky Sports' top pundits, part-owner of Salford City, and ventured into property development.

He also had a stint on the England coaching staff and a brief spell as Valencia manager. The former right-back who made 602 appearances for United, has carried his work ethic off the pitch - but confessed that United's high standards eventually became a burden.
