A consumer rights expert has shared just some of the ways that Brits could save money this winter. With the rising cost of living and increasing energy bills, many will be looking for smart ways to keep expenses down.It comes after the average household energy bill jumped from £1,971 to £2,500 at the beginning of October.

Following this, consumer rights campaigner Martyn James has said that vulnerable people have been telling him that they are too scared to use the cooker or put the heating on.As reported by the Mirror, Martyn says that leaving the heating off during a cold winter will not help anyone.
