Ferne McCann details 'lonely and tough' night feeds with baby Finty in honest post

In the caption, she wrote: “Insta VS reality……& as much as I hate that saying! Honestly, I couldn’t think of anything else to say where I have had like 2 minutes of sleep. “I am having great moments & I am having the tough moments - where the night feeds feel lonely and long,” she wrote.

She used the post as an opportunity to support and encourage other new mothers: “So this is a shout-out to all the tired mamma’s who are getting the bare minimum of sleep.To the mamma’s who are questioning if their baby has had enough milk.To the mamma’s who are working on their babies latch.To the mamma’s who are constantly winding their babies.

It feels like a constant guessing game but ultimate your baby needs you. “You are their human,” she shared. “So through those long nights where I have most definitely at times wanted to throw in the towel with breastfeeding….all I can do is hug, smell & snuggle Finty so she feels safe.
